The Best Overall Project celebrates outstanding achievements in interactive design of a project and other qualities such as artistic merit, creativity, technological advancement and interdisciplinary value.

BEST CHARACTER

The Best Nominated Character Award goes to the pinnacle of character creation, nominated by their creators. This award recognises the detail, credibility and depth demonstrated in the character's visual design, personal narrative, and ability to fit into the project's overarching world.

One character per-project is put forward by the author.

BEST SOUND

The Best Sound Design Award recognises projects that use audio to perfectly embody the needs of the application. This award considers sound effects, music, dialogue, and ambient noise, to honour the project that engages and immerses the audience the most.

The Best Visual Aesthetics Award is given to the project with the highest attention to detail. Recognising the hard work of their creators, this award takes into account how visually striking the project is, and how seamlessly the aesthetics are integrated with one-another.

The Most Innovative Concept Award is granted to the project that pushes the boundaries of what is seen in current media and/or technology the most, to create a truly unique experience.

The Spotlight Award recognises the phenomenal work of the first year student. It acknowledges various attributes such as ambition, creativity and execution.
